I’m also grateful for inhaled corticosteroids and the All Children’s pediatric pulmonologist and gastroenterologist who helped me get control of AG’s asthma and digestive issues. Asthma action plans have helped, too.
Finally, I’m thankful for peak flow meters and the way they throw some light into the corners when I’m stumbling around, trying to see my way through AG’s chest, into her lungs, to determine how frequently she needs her inhalers and whether she’s headed down the oral steroid route.
