Lots of input on this one. Thanks to your help, the list is getting pretty extensive and will maybe help newly diagnosed readers start to narrow in on their own triggers. I’m editing the static page (though not the original post) on top to reflect these additions.

1. Excessive talking
2. Fatigue
3. Strong smelling markers
4. New carpets
5. Overeating
6. Hot or cold beverages
7. Artificial sweeteners
8. Eucalyptus
9. Citrus scents, both natural and artificial
10. Artificial flavorings like cinnamon
11. Spicy foods
12. Powdery or dry foods
Of note: natural and artificial airborne fragrances and/or irritants can trigger flares, but artificial ones appear particularly harsh. (To this blog’s readers, at least, and the same holds true for my kid.)
