As for the weekly links, Earth Day is April 22, and most cities host some kind of green festival or celebration this weekend. I’ve exhausted the topic recently of why air quality and climate change are maybe even more relevant topics to asthma families than others, so if you want to know why Earth Day’s important in this house, I’ll direct you here.

Festivals are fun, but actually making some sustainable changes is even better. Some constructive ways to celebrate Earth Day this week:

Sign this Global Warming Petition
“The Sky Belongs to All of Us,” says the Earth Day Network, and it’s sending this petition to Congress, asking for a greenhouse emissions cap and other global warming measures. Why not sign it? This Asthma Mom did.
