Apparently, dieters in a University of Wisconsin-Madison study were more likely to start eating healthy if they took photos of their food before they ate it. Actually seeing the type and amount of food of a typical snacking binge worked as a powerful deterrent. (via Serious Eats

Man Eats 23,000 Big Macs
Okay, so he ate them over the course of 36 years, but it still must be some kind of record. Dan Gorske says he started this OCD-fueled burger habit in 1972 and has kept every single Big Mac receipt.

    Ugg. I’ve never eaten even one Big Mac. I can’t imagine eating 20,000 of them. Gack!

    Yeah, the thought of 23,000 burgers sort of makes my large intestine hurt.
