Knock, Knock – Heeding Obama’s Message to Floridians

Busy today and AG’s early morning doctor’s appointment has me running late, so I’m pushing the post about reducing household VOC’s to next week. Instead of a real post today, here’s the live portion of Barack Obama’s 30-minute special from last night. He’s speaking in Fort Lauderdale here in Florida:

In six days, we can choose to invest in health care for our families and education for our kids and renewable energy for our future. In six days we can choose hope over fear, and unity over division. – Barack Obama

I’m choosing to invest in the candidate who values our brains and intellect and speaks to the spirit of social consciousness and transformation through hard work, rather than the one who’s banking on the worst in us.

And Florida and America, in this last week if you will knock on some doors for me. If you’ll make some calls for me. . . .If you’ll stand with me and fight by my side and cast your ballot for me then I promise you, we will not just win Florida. We will win this election and together, we will change this country and change the world. – Barack Obama
