Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and visual appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Safari. Exceptional Blog!

Wendy--My hope exactly.

Danielle--In the same way, I can never truly appreciate or understand what you guys and my kid experience.

EclecticBird--What else can we do? And what's funny is that writing about not panicking actually reminds me not to panic.

Great point about the difference between worry and panic. I'm not panicked about the flu outbreak (even if the numbers are going up) because it will do no good. I do plan for different outcomes and try to make sure I get up to date information.

It's really interesting to hear about those scary, surreal middle-of-the-night attacks from a mom's point of view. Very well written. I'm sure I can't appreciate what it's like to be a caregiver and to be the one watching/helping.

About the swine flu: vigilance is important for asthma patients and moms no matter what flu is going around. Panicking is just plain counterproductive, nice post!

This post makes perfect sense. It takes courage to write so honestly about your own experience with panic.

You've also helped me to set things straight in my own mind. Worried, yes, but I didn't want to admit it. Panic? No not yet. Hopefully not at all.

Let's hope this swine flu just fades away.
